Rock & Roll Hall of Fame names its Class of 2018, from Bon Jovi to Nina Simone

Bon Jovi, Nina Simone, The Moody Blues, The Cars, and Dire Straits. Meet the full lineup of 2018 inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The 33rd annual induction ceremony won’t happen until April 14, 2018, but you can start cheering for the new entrants now. Those five musical forces making up the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2018 are joined by legendary gospel singer/songwriter Sister Rosetta Tharpe, who receives an Early Influence award.

The winners emerge from a competitive field that included 19 nominees in total: Rage Against the Machine, Eurythmics, Radiohead, Judas Priest, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, MC5, The Meters, Rufus feat. Chaka Khan, Link Wray, and The Zombies, as well as the winning six. Read more…
