WeWork will open a new SF HQ in the Salesforce Tower

The Wing continues its women-only co-working/social club takeover

When The Wing launched its first New York space a year ago, it offered something a lot of women didn’t even know they wanted. 

The coworking space/social club in the Flatiron district lets women network across fields, freshen up between meetings, and make calls, all in a perfectly curated, relaxing, pastel space. There’s also evening programming, including bartending classes, food-banking, and panels of women small business owners.

The Wing saw so much demand for its 21st-century revival of 19th-century women’s clubs that the waitlist for its $2,350 annual membership ran 8,000 people long. 

A year later, The Wing is ready to get those women off the waitlist. The club opened its second space—three times the size of its first—in Soho this week. Locations in Brooklyn and Washington, D.C. are planned for winter 2018.  Read more…
