‘The Last Jedi’ star overhears fans gushing about her, goes over and introduces herself

Never mind porgs, we have a new favourite The Last Jedi star: Kelly Marie Tran a.k.a. Rose Tico. 

When Tran overheard Star Wars fans gushing about her character when she was out at a pub, she did something truly wonderful. She recorded her reaction and then went over to introduce herself.  

“A few days ago, I was at a pub eating pie with a friend, when this DELIGHTFUL group of people came in,” wrote Tran on Instagram. “They sat down at the table next to me and started discussing The Last Jedi — in minute detail.” Read more…
