While the threat of robots taking over the world is something that always looms large, the more alarming enemies are already within our midst, and they come in the form of aggressive phone calls.
Yup, that’s right, we’re talking about those pesky robocalls.
A recent report found that 26.3 billion robocalls were made to U.S. numbers last year, a whopping 46% spike from 18 billion in 2017. It’s gotten so bad that it’s become the Federal Communications Commission’s biggest headache. Even blocking and filtering efforts by carriers are rendered futile due to the gravitas of the problem.
