Uhh, people keep searching for ‘Cardi B’ on Pornhub

A very unfortunate side effect of being a woman in the public eye: Your name becoming a popular search term on Pornhub. And naturally, Cardi B’s meteoric rise in popularity has led to… yes, more searches for her name on the popular adult video platform. 

According to the website’s data insights team, a sizable increase searches for the artist’s name began in August 2017 when her single “Bodak Yellow” topped the charts. 

Since then, it’s been a pretty steady rise, save for a fluke 1,007 percent surge in search traffic after fans (incorrectly!) thought she’d filmed herself having sex with her fiancé Offset — of Migos fame — while streaming live on Instagram. Read more…
