Watch 11-year-old Meghan Markle protesting a sexist ad on TV

Footage has emerged of Meghan Markle campaigning against sexist adverts when she was just 11 years old. 

Inside Edition obtained footage of Markle talking about a sexist ad for Ivory washing up liquid on Nick News back in 1993. In the show, Markle and her classmates were asked to watch adverts and assess their messages. 

Prior to the interview, Markle had written to the show’s host Linda Ellerbee to alert her attention about the advert, which said: “Women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans.”  Read more…
