Amazon investigating Jeffrey Tambor over sexual harassment allegation

After a nasty spate of harassment allegations including former Amazon Studios chief Roy Price, Mashable has confirmed that Amazon is investigating actor Jeffrey Tambor for allegations of sexual harassment. Tambor’s former assistant accused him of harassment in a private Facebook post, per Deadline.

Tambor responded with a statement to Deadline earlier on Wednesday:

Tambor stars in Transparent, one of Amazon’s best-known original series, and has earned multiple awards for his role. 

After Price left Amazon, so did head of scripted programming Joe Lewis, followed by head of unscripted programming Conrad Riggs. Tambor’s former assistant Van Barnes likely came forward as many in Hollywood do the same. Read more…
