‘Borat’ star sends glorious offer to men arrested for wearing mankinis

Borat was an eye-opening film in many ways, but there were two things in particular that it really helped put on the map: Kazakhstan and the mankini.

Last week, though, a combination of those two things led to some issues for visiting tourists.

Six men from the Czech Republic were arrested and fined for “minor hooliganism” after they wore Borat’s favourite piece of beachwear while visiting Kazakhstan, reported the BBC.

They were fined 22,500 Tenge ($67.7) each.
