Canadian Olympic skier Chris Del Bosco injures pelvis in terrifying crash

Olympic skiers are trained to fly through the air and perform all sorts of impressive feats, but even the most professional athletes don’t always stick the landing.

During the 1/8 finals of men’s ski cross on Wednesday, Canadian skier Christopher Del Bosco suffered a brutal crash while competing at PyeongChang’s Phoenix Park.

When taking on one of the final jumps Del Bosco, who was behind the other three competitors, went flying high into the air and visibly lost his balance. He began shaking and flailing his arms as his body twisted and fell towards the ground, eventually crashing into the snow and sliding for several feet along the course. Read more…
