Verizon trolls Comcast on Twitter after nationwide Xfinity Voice outage

Verizon’s social media team isn’t messing around. 

With Comcast’s Xfinity Voice phone service experiencing outages today across the country, the company tweeted out a statement assuring its customers that it was looking into the problem that Down Detector notes spans from New York City to San Francisco. 

@VerizonSupport was watching. 

@comcastbusiness customers may still be experiencing an issue with their Voice service. We appreciate your patience as we continue to resolve. Please continue to check back here for more updates.

As working to resolve the problem is not the same as having resolved it, business owners that rely on Xfinity Voice for their phone service were understandably pissed. Many voiced that displeasure on Twitter.  Read more…

Everyone hates Comcast and loves Netflix

People love streaming services such as Netflix and Twitch. Their internet service providers? Not so much. 

That’s the conclusion reached by the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) report, which used data from around 250,000 customer interviews. 

This year, satisfaction with internet service providers reached an all-time low.

Spectrum — formerly known as Time Warner Cable —  received a score of 60 out of 100, an 8 percent drop from last year. Comcast’s Xfinity received the same score. The most popular service was Verizon’s Fios, which dropped from 71 to 70 over the last year.  Read more…
