The people we work with aren’t just in the next cubicle over anymore. Sometimes they’re not even in the same state or country. Which means collaboration is essential.

So what tools do the pros rely on? If you’re asking Dollar Shave Club, Squarespace, AirBnB, Nike, TED, Pixar, and others, the answer is Droplr. It’s a favorite in workplaces that rely on remote staff, and for good reason. It makes communication and feedback easy: The screen recording and screen capture tool lets you capture anything you want to share, mark it up, and send it over to anyone. That goes for videos, too, meaning you can walk anyone through the steps of what you’re doing — no writing out long instructions and no tedious back-and-forth. Read more…

TwitterFacebook

Black Friday got you down cause you missed those juicy deals? Hot-ticket products flew off virtual and physical shelves on Friday, including Nintendo’s SNES Classic. Supplies were replenished at Best Buy on Saturday morning, and the coveted console will return to Toys R Us starting Nov. 27.

This doesn’t extend to online shopping (sorry, Cyber Monday!), so you’ll have to weather the lines and weather the weather to procure the Classic at long last. Read more…

We love robot vacuums. They’re helpful, kinda adorable, and the exact right amount of intelligence we want our devices to have. Plus, you can give it a fun name.

Roomba was one of the first to the Smart Home trend. Before Amazon got Alexa into every room of your house, you could still get a robot to do your chores. If you still haven’t grabbed one of the OG Internet of Things devices—either because it’s too expensive or it seems kinda low-tech at this point, Target’s got you covered on both counts.  Read more…
