Louis C.K.’s ‘I Love You, Daddy’ won’t get a release

Ah, consequences. 

Following cancelation of the film premiere and a New York Times story in which five women accused Louis C.K. of sexual misconduct, C.K.’s film I Love You, Daddy will no longer be released.

The film’s distributor, The Orchard, announced the news Friday morning with a brief statement:

I Love You, Daddy was already raising eyebrows for its timing and subject matter; in the film, Chloe Grace Moretz plays C.K.’s daughter and begins dating a much older man – it bears more than a few similarities to Woody Allen’s actual life.  Read more…
