Louis C.K.’s movie premiere canceled, and it may only be the beginning

Louis C.K.’s upcoming film premiere in New York has been canceled, per The Hollywood Reporter, reportedly in anticipation of a damning New York Times exposé not unlike the one which took down Harvey Weinstein just a few weeks ago.

In September, the comedian dismissed the Times‘ interview questions about sexual misconduct, calling them “rumors,” and equating acknowledgement with admission. Some speculated he wouldn’t speak to press at the I Love You, Daddy premiere, a question that is now moot with its cancellation.

C.K.’s film I Love You, Daddy is about an aging Hollywood producer who likes to date young women, and at least one trailer includes the line “Everyone’s a pervert.” Read more…
