Nokia is bringing back the Matrix phone

When you have a history as long as Nokia, there’s a lot of cool stuff too revive — and HMD Global, the current owner of the Nokia brand, is playing its cards right. 

At a press conference in Barcelona on Sunday, the company announced the Nokia 8110 4G — a rehash of the Nokia 8110, also known as the Matrix phone.

This Mobile World Congress, LG is laying low. 

The company held a press conference on Saturday, insisting that it wasn’t a press conference. The people who showed up were able to try a pre-production model of the upcoming LG V30s ThinQ — but it’s just a slightly upgraded version of the company’s current flagship, the LG V30. 

So is there anything interesting about the new phone worth mentioning? Well, sort of. The LG V30s ThinQ has exactly the same hardware as its predecessor, but it comes with more RAM (6GB vs 4GB), and can be had with more storage memory, 128GB or 256GB. Samsung Galaxy S9 photos just leaked weeks ahead of its official release date

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are coming soon, and now we know exactly what they’ll look like.

Samsung announced earlier this week that it’s holding a special media event on Feb. 25. in Barcelona, where it’s widely believed that the South Korean electronics giant will reveal its new flagship phones: the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

Now, weeks before the event, we have high-resolution photos of the unreleased devices, thanks to prolific mobile leaker Evan Blass:
