A spaceship floating through the outer reaches of space to make contact with an alien craft already sounds like a recipe for disaster. But when you add George R.R. Martin’s name into the mix you know it’s not going to end well.

In the first full trailer for the upcoming adaptation of Martin’s novella Nightflyers, the space mission gets off to a bad start when there’s a malfunction on the ship — and it sounds as though someone in the crew might be to blame.
Add in some creepy visions, a fair bit of violence and a healthy dose of fire and blood, and it’s looking like the series may even be as dark as Game of Thrones. Read more…
