In these dark days, no one seems to like much of anything. I certainly don’t — the things that used to bring me joy, like naps and minor political victories, now fill me with existential dread.

It’s been a long, hot week for many of us. The constant presence of sweat, on top of continuous political chaos and the confusing nature of a mid-week holiday break, can be a lot to deal with.
