You know you’ve created a strong meme when your work gets praise from the meme’s original subject himself.

Earlier this week, Roger Federer fan @itscameliaaa created just such a meme.

Here it is, in all its glory:

please enjoy this masterpiece I spent way too long creating pic.twitter.com/FdaYyPNIN8

Undeniably eye-catching, we’re sure you’ll agree.

Apparently the man himself thought so, too.

Rafael Nadal practices for Wimbledon beside ‘some guys’

TwitterFacebook

It’s not every day you see three of the greatest tennis players casually practising in one photo.

Tennis legend Rafael Nadal posted a cheeky photo from Wimbledon on Sunday, taken from the prestigious tournament’s practice courts.

On the other two courts? Oh, just some guys called Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

Mid Sunday practice @Wimbledon with some know guys sharing the three courts 😉 pic.twitter.com/ZIZmeXRFpS

TwitterFacebook

Everyone’s favorite anchorman is back.

Well, kind of. To the delight of many tennis fans, Will Ferrell reprised his famous role on the courts of the Australian Open on Sunday.

John McEnroe was doing an on-court interview with Roger Federer when he stopped to introduce an important guest. Ferrell then strode across the court to cheers and immediately channelled his character from Anchorman.

Roger Federer wore a kilt to a tennis match and it’s cooler than you’ll ever be

TwitterFacebook

There is no nobler pursuit than tennis in kilts.

Tennis superstars Roger Federer and Andy Murray played each other at a charity match in Glasgow on Tuesday, and things got pretty darn Scottish.

First up, Federer received a warm welcome from his Caledonian opponent.

Can’t get a warmer welcome than this. Thanks @andy_murray … is this your usual pre-match routine? 🍪 pic.twitter.com/mWntwqvDPA

Murray even upped the ante.

Yea that’s a good start but try a deep fried Mars bar on top of that and you’ll be properly ready💪💪@rogerfederer
