Here’s your first look at Tom Hardy as Venom

TwitterFacebook

Before he was bastardized along with everything else in Spider-Man 3, Venom was a pretty cool Marvel character – and Tom Hardy wants to bring that guy back with his new Venom film. The first image of Hardy in character as Eddie Brock is quiet and understated – but like Eddie himself, there’s something sharp beneath the surface.

The photo shows Hardy as Eddie Brock, pre-Venom suit, working as a reporter. As you zoom in, EW notes, you can see questions like “So how exactly does the Life Foundation go about testing its pharmaceuticals?” and “What about the allegations your empire is built on?” Whether or not you’ve read the comics, you can probably intuit that the answers to those questions won’t be good. Whoops, Tom Holland shared a top secret ‘Infinity War’ poster and his reaction is priceless

TwitterFacebook

Even a 21-year-old starring in Avengers: Infinity War and fresh off a summer blockbuster is but a 21-year-old.

Tom Holland received a gift from one of his on-screen uncles on Tuesday and decided to unbox it live on Instagram – only to find that it was a highly confidential Avengers: Infinity War poster.

After opening the poster, Holland reaches for the note enclosed in the box. On the back is a Marvel Studios logo with big, bold writing declaring: “CONFIDENTIAL” and “DO NOT SHARE.” It’s obnoxious enough that you feel like Holland had to see it, but he sells the sincerity whether or not it’s real. (Obviously, it seems likely this was all planned. But whatever. It’s cute.) Read more…
