‘House of Cards’ extends production hiatus and on-set investigation

Netflix and MRC Media will extend the production hiatus on House of Cards while evaluating the fallout from sexual assault allegations against Kevin Spacey. Cast and crew will now be paid for an additional two weeks of hiatus, with further updates on Dec. 8.

Netflix confirmed in October that House of Cards‘ sixth season would be its last, a plan that was in the works before Anthony Rapp shared the story of Spacey’s advances upon him as a teenager. Spacey will be cut from the remainder of the season, but production is still investigating allegations of sexual misconduct on set. Read more…
