Matthew McConaughey teamed up with Wild Turkey to hand out free… frozen turkeys

We didn’t think the McConaissance would include so much poultry. 

Matthew McConaughey teamed up with the bourbon distillery Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, on Monday to pass out frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving.

A group of 250 volunteers along with McConaughey were able to pass out 4,500 frozen turkeys to local families in the area, which were provided by Butterball. 

Wild Turkey is passing out turkeys. Get it? 

The giveaway was part of the “Wild Turkey Gives Back” marketing initiative to give out free Thanksgiving turkeys for the holiday.   Read more…
