Meghan Markle just issued an unprecedented statement about her dad

After days of unrelenting speculation about whether Meghan Markle’s father Thomas will attend his daughter’s wedding on Saturday, Kensington Palace has issued an unprecedented statement on the matter.

Kensington Palace tweeted the words “a statement from Ms. Meghan Markle” along with the following image: 

“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding,” reads the statement from Ms Markle. 

“I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.”  Read more…
