‘Monopoly: Cheaters Edition’ was made for all you con artists out there

Sometimes Monopoly gets frustrating and you can’t help but take part in a little bit of cheating to get ahead. Of course, that’s against the rules and can result in some pretty vicious arguments.

Now, the makers of the game are rewarding cheaters with Monopoly: Cheaters Edition, a new spin on the classic version that actually mirrors real life a bit more with new additions like identity theft and the ability to secretly short change your fellow players. The new board game was revealed by Insider Tuesday.

The original Monopoly sees players pursue a very capitalist victory, by buying up properties and charging passersby fees when they stop on their blocks, while trying to avoid bankruptcy. (Although it was initially designed as a very different, anti-capitalist kind of game). Read more…
