Netflix teams with ESPN for a 10-part Michael Jordan docuseries

He’s the G.O.A.T. against which all other G.O.A.T. contenders are measured. And now he’ll be the subject of a documentary series.

Basketball legend Michael Jordan gave both his blessing and his full participation for a 10-part documentary series about his life. The project is a collaboration between Netflix and ESPN Films, with Andre the Giant documentary director Jason Hehir steering the ship.

Across 10 episodes, The Last Dance — that’s the title — will explore Jordan’s career and legacy, focusing in large part on his rise during the 1990s when he played for professional basketball’s Chicago Bulls. Read more…
