Politician who made fun of Women’s March defeated by fed-up woman he insulted

Tuesday night was a historic night if you’re the type of person who likes to watch politicians eat sh*t.

One such dirt-eater was John Carman, a soon-to-be-former Republican member on the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders. In January, Carman posted a meme on his Facebook page that read: “Will the woman’s protest be over in time for them to cook dinner?”

Last night, Carman lost his seat a woman who was incensed by the joke, Democrat Ashley Bennett.

After the controversy erupted, Carman stood by his meme the way some people stand by issues they really care about, like education or healthcare. Read more…
