‘Saturday Night Live’ has Netflix all figured out in this over-the-top ad

Here’s a feeling every Netflix subscriber can relate to: the seemingly infinite process of thumbing through the streaming service’s dizzying lineup of movie and TV options.

That’s the whole idea, if this ad from Saturday Night Live is to be believed. Netflix’s seemingly insatiable hunger for content, more content, literally all the content, has the singular goal of achieving something called “The Endless Scroll.”

“By the time you reach the bottom of our menu there’s new shows at the top, and thus, the singularity will be achieved,” the ad’s faceless announcer notes. Read more…
