At Wednesday’s Michael Cohen hearing, Donald Trump’s former fixer sat in front of a group of U.S. lawmakers to detail, with evidence, how the president is a “racist,” a “conman,” and a “cheat.” Rather than rising to Trump’s defense, Cohen’s Republican inquisitors spent much of the day shouting about the disbarred lawyer’s credibility as a witness… and owning themselves in the process.
This was obviously fertile ground for Saturday Night Live writers to explore. Ben Stiller brought back his Cohen impression for this one, and he was joined by another surprise guest: Bill Hader, as an increasingly frazzled Ohio congressman, Jim Jordan. Read more…
