‘Star Wars’ explained ‘Arrested Development’-style is the best thing ever

To celebrate the upcoming Solo, The Star Wars Show has given us a beautiful gift: A New Hope narrated by Solo director and Arrested Development narrator Ron Howard.

The Arrested Development-style Star Wars summary is, quite frankly, perfection. Howard, as narrator, punctures lies told by Leia and Obi-Wan, throws in a quick plug for Solo, and makes us realize how much Leia has in common with Maeby Fünke.

It’s complete with equally well-timed AD flourishes and inside jokes, including the jaunty background music, a Mr. F reference for Boba Fett, and that classic coda: “That’s why you always leave a note.” Read more…
