The next ‘Cloverfield’ movie has just been revealed, and it’s premiering tonight

The Cloverfield universe is expanding to outer space.

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for The Cloverfield Paradox, formerly titled God Particle. As with Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane, the narrative relationship seems to be tangential – it’s not a direct continuation of an earlier storyline, but just another addition to the mythology.

Or so we assume, since, in typical Cloverfield fashion, they’re keeping it mysterious. But with a cast that includes Daniel Brühl, David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Elizabeth Debicki, you can bet we’ll be checking it out … right after the game, which is when it hits Netflix. Read more…
