The secret meaning behind the NBA’s esports league logo

The NBA and 2K Games are launching their own esports league for the NBA 2K video game series and on Monday they unveiled the league’s logo.

The logo for the NBA 2K League is reminiscent of the NBA’s own logo but instead of featuring a basketball player, it features the design of a basketball.

The vertical pill-shape of the logo and its red, white, and blue coloring speaks to the NBA’s own logo, and the font of the league name below is used by 2K Games.
