These tiny baby octopuses hatching will brighten your miserable existence

We know you’re probably sick of cute octopus videos at this point but please, bear with us.

The Virginia Aquarium posted a video of octopuses (yes “octopuses” is grammatically correct, nerds) hatching and displaying their colour-changing abilities.

Apparently the babies went dark straight away because it was so freakin’ weird they were firing off chromatophores (colour-changing cells) like nobody’s business. Read more…
