On Friday morning, the world learned that Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn is expected to plead guilty to lying to the F.B.I. about his contact with the Russian ambassador. 

The guilty plea could indicate that Flynn has “flipped,” i.e., may now be cooperating with Robert Mueller’s investigation, providing information about whether the Trump administration colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election, and if so, to what extent. Read more…
