Alicia Vikander has praised Frances McDormand’s Oscar acceptance speech and described the ways in which Time’s Up has impacted her own career.

Speaking to Mashable live on Facebook on Monday, Vikander — who is starring in the upcoming adaptation of Tomb Raider — talked about the effect the campaign is having on people in the industry.

“I was there with Time’s Up presenting at the Golden Globes and I found myself, in the weeks leading up to that, in more discussions and more phonecalls with actresses, writers, directors — females that I have, sadly, just kind of been pushed far away from in the industry,” said Vikander.
