Next time your mother tells you she’d do anything for you, believe her! 

This mother did what many of us would be far too nervous to do had we found ourselves seated next to Andrew Garfield at lunch. She asked him to record a video for her son. 

Ian Palmer — an actor and writer in NYC — posted a video sent to him by his mother after she found herself sitting in the same restaurant as Garfield. What are the odds, eh?

“Hi Ian, you have a very sweet mother who doesn’t mind crossing boundaries over lunch tables,” Garfield joked. “I hear you’re sick and I hear you didn’t get to go out last night, get better.”  Read more…

The actor dedicated his Tony to the LGBTQ community in a moving speech Sunday nightGarfield won best actor in a play for his performance as Pryor Walter in the ‘Angels in America’ revival.

“At a moment in time where maybe the most important thing that we remember right now is the sanctity of the human spirit, it is the profound privilege of my life to play Prior Walter in ‘Angels in America’ because he represents the purest spirit of humanity, and especially that of the LGBTQ community,” Garfield said. “It is a spirit that says no to oppression.
