We didn’t know it was possible to care about anything more than we care about Beyoncé. But apparently people around the world care more about GDPR right now than they do about Queen Bey. 

Um, what on earth?

Per Google Trends, search interest in the term GDPR—a.k.a. Europe’s new General Data Protection Regulation—is currently higher than interest in Beyoncé. The unusual twist of events was first spotted by Quartz. 

A Google spokesperson confirmed to Mashable that GDPR appears to be outranking Beyoncé in search interest at the present time. And, the Google Trends public search tool also shows that GDPR is basically more popular than Beyoncé right now. Read more…

Apparently the last thing you want to do is mess with Beyoncé. And the second last thing you want to do is name a beer after her. 

A Brooklyn Brewery was given a cease and desist letter recently to stop producing a Beyonce-inspired beer. 

Brooklyn’s Lineup Brewing was selling Bïeryoncé – an German style beer that originated in October 2016 and returned this year after popular demand wanted more of it.

Whatever holiday you celebrate has come early, thanks to Beyoncé. Oh, but you have to pay her for it.

On the most hallowed of days, Thanksgiving Eve, Beyoncé’s website dropped a host of new merchandise for those other holidays coming up in the next month. Over 20 new offerings are now available to make your upcoming festivities as joyous as possible.

The new collection has a real variety of stuff. Everything from sweatshirts wishing you a “thicc holiday” to comfy, colorful “yoncé” onesies.

Beyoncé’s huge Formation Tour hat is currently up for auction

Want to own a piece of history that makes you weep with adoration each time you look at it? Well, you’re in luck! Beyoncé is auctioning the wide-brimmed black hat she wore on her Formation Tour.

To sweeten the deal, Bey has signed the hat and blessed it with a kind message (“All my love”)Per Pitchfork, the lucky auction winner will also receive a photograph of Beyoncé wearing the hat.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit The Lung Transplant Project, an initiative that aims to decrease lung transplant waiting times. Bey isn’t the only celeb who donated items for the cause — Pharrell donated two pairs of signed Adidas Originals, too. Read more…
