Blessings to the emergency ladder that rescued Beyoncé and Jay-Z from their malfunctioning stage

During Sunday’s Poland stop on Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “On The Run II” tour, the unthinkable happened: The Queen (and her husband,) got trapped on stage and had to be rescued via an emergency ladder.

The world needs a Beyoncé rap album

TwitterFacebook

If you ask some people, DJ Khaled dropped a song on Friday morning featuring Jay-Z, Future, and Beyoncé.

But if you ask the right people, the only person that mattered in terms of Friday releases was Beyoncé — despite the fact that she appears for less than a minute on the fragmented song that Kevin Hart promised would cause a worldwide “flatline.” Sorry, Kevin, but nah.

On “Top Off,” the first single from DJ Khaled’s upcoming album, Queen Bey stood out — not just because she’s Beyoncé Giselle Knowles — but because she raps. Rare Beyoncé bars were dropped with a ferocity that stopped the music world and made it incredibly clear that the people are dying for a Beyoncé rap album.  Read more…

Beyoncé and Jay-Z doing the electric slide is the holiday present we all needed

TwitterFacebook

If you need proof that 2017 wasn’t all bad, Tina Lawson’s got you covered.

The mother of our patron saints, Beyoncé and Solange, shared a video of the entire family — Jay-Z included — doing the electric slide. The video has been deleted from her Instagram account, but like we all know by now nothing really ever disappears from the internet.

Look at the way Jay’s hands extend up at every turn! Look at how Bey delicately dances in those insane stilettos! Look at all the black excellence!

Whatever holiday you celebrate has come early, thanks to Beyoncé. Oh, but you have to pay her for it.

On the most hallowed of days, Thanksgiving Eve, Beyoncé’s website dropped a host of new merchandise for those other holidays coming up in the next month. Over 20 new offerings are now available to make your upcoming festivities as joyous as possible.

The new collection has a real variety of stuff. Everything from sweatshirts wishing you a “thicc holiday” to comfy, colorful “yoncé” onesies.

Beyoncé takes the throne as the highest paid woman in music

TwitterFacebook

There’s no disputing that Beyoncé reigns supreme in the music industry, but now there’s monetary proof that she really is at the top of her game.

The singer landed the number one spot on Forbes list declaring her the highest paid woman in music this year, and she barely released music.

Forbes works within the perimeters of June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017 to come to its decision—and all income is counted before taxes and fees. Bey, who landed at fifth place just last year, leads the pack with $105 million to her name. The majority of her earnings came through the wildly successful Formation World Tour in support of last year’s Lemonade. According to Forbes, it alone made a quarter of a billion dollars. Read more…

We made a Beyoncé-only version of Eminem’s ‘Walk On Water’ so you don’t have to

TwitterFacebook

I feel a little bad for Eminem. On the day of his epic return, the Detroit rapper pulled out all the stops and dropped his first single in a hot minute—”Walk On Water” with Beyoncé joining him on the track.

It quickly became a trending topic (truly anything she does will stop the internet), but Eminem had to know what he was getting into when he enlisted the Queen for his single. Within minutes, it was clear that she’s the one people really wanted. And since Eminem was standing in the way of that, I decided to help us all out after an exhausting week of news.

Eminem and Beyoncé’s surprising new collaboration brought out the jokes on Twitter

TwitterFacebook

Eminem’s new single “Walk On Water” came as a surprise on Friday—not because it means the Detroit rapper is officially back but because it featured the one and only Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter.

Regardless of how you feel about Eminem, you have to admit—the Queen shined bright on this one. Her vocals are the first thing you hear and for a lot of people out there, it should have been the only one. Here are some of the funniest reactions to the unexpected collaboration.
