Prepare to reenter The Twilight Zone (although most days it feels like we never left).
CBS All Access is reviving the beloved sci-fi anthology series with Get Out helmer Jordan Peele, X-Men movie producer Simon Kinberg and Daredevil showrunner Marco Ramirez, who will executive produce the reboot and collaborate on the premiere episode.
“Too many times this year it’s felt we were living in a twilight zone, and I can’t think of a better moment to reintroduce it to modern audiences,” said Peele in a statement.
“The Twilight Zone was a touchstone in my life,” added Kinberg. “The opportunity to continue its lineage is a dream come true, and I’m so thrilled to be doing it with Jordan, Marco and the team at CBS All Access.” Read more…

When the show returns in January — spoilers for the mid-season finale follow — the crew of the Discovery will literally be in a new universe. And that’s not the only place that Episode 10, “Into the Forest I Go,” took us for the first time.
