Sales on KitchenAid mixers are kind of a big deal around here. When an item’s regular price is regularly $300 or even $400, seeing that hefty price drop makes it way easier to justify the purchase.

Here’s one you probably haven’t seen before: As part of Best Buy’s 20 Day of Doorbusters promotion, they’re basically giving away the KitchenAid Professional 500 Series mixer for $199.99. Black Friday didn’t even offer the Pro series for that little — not even close.

Like any other cult-favorite kitchen appliance, KitchenAid has numerous models with different functions and sizes that all affect the price point. While the Artisan series, which isn’t as heavy duty, has a 5-quart model that’s often on sale, the reduced price is still over $200.  Read more…

We weren’t sure if it was actually going to happen, but the new Instant Pot Max is finally available to buy on Amazon.

As certified members of the Instant Pot cult (er, club) we’re psyched. And with the daily news cycle the way it is, it’s nice to be distracted by a kitchen appliance.

Originally promised for August (the 1st and the 20th were both dates being tossed around — but we also heard June before that), the Instant Pot Max officially blessed the fandom in late November 2018, retailing for a whopping $199.95. PSA: Amazon is having GIANT (no, seriously) sale on Instant Pots today. No time for a witty intro right now.

All you need to know is that this isn’t like one of those random sales where all sizes in one or two models are on sale. This isn’t even like the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales.

It’s better.

Aside from the relatively common deals on the 9-in-1 DUO Plus and 10-in-1 Ultra (which are at their Black Friday price, BTW), Amazon has also slashed the price on the 7-in-1 Smart Wi-Fi model and the just-released Instant Pot Max.
