Splendid news, Peele fans: we now have even more information about the Get Out director’s upcoming new film, Us.

Specifically, a cast and an exact release date. We already knew that Lupita Nyong’o and Elizabeth Moss were likely to be involved, but now we have a full run-down of all the main stars.

Elizabeth Moss says ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 will be ‘darker’ — somehow

The Handmaid’s Tale feels unstoppable at every award show, and Season 2 appears to have no intention of slowing down — or letting us off the hook.

Over the weekend at the TV Critics Association press tour, Elizabeth Moss warned reporters: “It’s a dark season. I would say arguably it’s darker than Season 1 — if that’s possible.”

At the forefront of that darkness is the conflicting, traumatizing experience of being an expecting mother in Gilead. “[Show creator Bruce Miller] and I always talked about this impending birth of this child growing inside her like a ticking time bomb.” Read more…

First look at ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 promises more haunting beauty

Season 1 of The Handmaid’s Tale left viewers in total suspense, with a final shot of Offred gliding away from the camera and into the darkness of a van promising an unknown future. Season 2’s April premiere is still far away, but new photos released by Hulu show off more of the show’s gorgeous cinematography, finding vibrant beauty in the bleakest of worlds.
