At least 100 pink Cadillacs lined up to pay respect to Aretha Franklin on Friday in Detroit outside her funeral service — and the pictures are striking.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the pink cars are part of Franklin’s funeral procession being held at the Greater Grace Temple.

John McCain doesn’t want Trump at his funeral

Senator John McCain has made it very clear that when he dies, Donald Trump isn’t invited to his funeral.

On Saturday, The New York Times published an interview with McCain, explaining that the former Republican vice presidential nominee has already made these wishes known to the White House.

“His intimates have informed the White House that their current plan for his funeral is for Vice President Mike Pence to attend the service to be held in Washington’s National Cathedral,” the article reads. “…But not President Trump, with whom Mr. McCain has had a rocky relationship.”

Hundreds gather to bid farewell to Stephen Hawking

Beloved physicist Stephen Hawking was honored at a private funeral service on Saturday.

Hundreds of people gathered outside Great St. Mary’s Church in Cambridge, U.K. for the event, which was attended by about 500 of the scientist’s family, friends, students, and collaborators. Attendees included Elon Musk, Chuck Lorre, Brian May, Lily Cole, and others.
