Three Jeopardy! contestants on Thursday night demonstrated a remarkable and, quite frankly, relatable lack of awareness of the entire sport of American football.
CBS Sports shared on Twitter the hilariously excruciating exchange between Alex Trebek and the contestants as they attempted the “Talkin’ Football” category. At one point Trebek jokes about going to the commercials to temper the extreme awkwardness of the situation (and maybe to defuse his own incredulous response!)
