When you think “champagne tower” you might think of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Great Gatsby. But did you ever stop and think about how that tower got put together?

This bartender was trying to put the finishing touches on a champagne tower when the entire thing came crashing down.

Ice is a cruel and fickle beast.  

Look, everyone loves to watch the Winter Olympics and think they could look just as fabulous as Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir gliding along to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack on the ice. But let’s face it — we’re all more likely to fall on a patch of black ice in the parking of lot of supermarket and lose three years off our life from the shock than take home the gold.

Impromptu speed spelling is actually hilarious

If your biggest fear is not knowing how to spell a word, this video will cause you major distress.

Twitter user @kaykayx2, whose name is Kaylie Kindler, posted a compilation of her friends randomly quizzing each other on speed-spelling of simple words. The results are pretty hilarious. 

last year at nationals we decided to randomly yell words at each other and then try to spell them as quickly as possible without thinking about it. These were the results pic.twitter.com/kljBvX4n5S

The process was simple: Kindler and her teammates on the Indiana University cheerleading team yelled words at each other with no warning. Then, the team members spelled the words as fast as humanly possible. Read more…

Watch what happens when a group attempts to teach their friend how to use VR controls for the first time. She accidentally drops a virtual grenade in-game, and let’s just say it causes her some real-world panic.

Not many people can say they’ve had the glory of celebrating a European Cross Country Championship win in front of a crowd of cheering people.

Not many people can say they’ve become a meme after face-planting in the mud, either.

Well, Jimmy Gressier can say both. Over the weekend, the runner claimed victory in the men’s under-23, rounding off an epic race off with an attempted knee slide through the mud.

As you can tell from the following video, it didn’t quite go to plan.
