This story about two random people *maybe* falling in love on a plane is too perfect
Air travel can be a truly awful experience that involves being waaaaay too close to far too many people. But there’s also something strangely romantic about it. Especially when your trip involves potentially falling in love with a fellow passenger.
Rosey Blair and her boyfriend were on a flight home on Monday night, but their seats were in different aisles. Rosey decided to ask a woman to switch seats with her. In so doing, she may have altered someone’s life forever.
Last night on a flight home, my boyfriend and I asked a woman to switch seats with me so we could sit together. We made a joke that maybe her new seat partner would be the love of her life and well, now I present you with this thread.

Yep: It sounds like something out of a disaster movie, but this actually happened.
On Monday, Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8633, travelling from Chongqing, China to Lhasa, Tibet, was forced to make an emergency landing after a part of the windshield blew mid-flight.
“There was no warning sign,” Captain Liu Chuanjian was quoted as saying by Reuters. “Suddenly, the windshield just cracked and made a loud bang. The next thing I know, my co-pilot had been sucked halfway out of the window.”

Passengers on United Airlines flight 1175 from San Francisco to Honolulu experienced an unfortunate incident Tuesday when the engine’s cowling fell off mid-flight. The plane made it to its destination safely, though it did make an emergency landing.
Google Engineer Erik Haddad was on the flight, and captured this video from his seat on board the Boeing 777-200. The cowling, or the piece that cover’s the plane’s engine, is completely missing. A piece of the plane can also be seen shaking in the clip.
