Mum hopes magic royal Christmas photo will fund daughter’s education

Getting that perfect photo can be a challenge — even for the professionals. And when the Royal family is involved the competition to get the money shot is even more fierce. 

A mum from Norfolk in the UK struck gold when she captured what’s been described as “the best image of the day” using an iPhone. 

Karen Murdoch’s photo of four smiling royals at Sandringham on Christmas Day ended up on the front of several national newspapers in the UK.

She’s been lauded for out scooping 20 of the best photographers in the country.

Prince Harry manages to avoid the most awkward live TV interview ever

You might remember Alison Hammond, the over-the-top showbiz reporter who turned into an Internet star after this hilarious interview with Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. Seriously, watch it if you haven’t already: it’s already a classic.

Now she’s turned her eyes to the couple of the year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who just got engaged and are in Nottingham for their first public appearance. 

And boy, did she deliver.
