Forget selfie sticks. There’s now a more efficient and socially acceptable way of taking photos, and it comes in the form of Picbot. It’s a motorized smartphone mount that utilizes face tracking technology to help you capture next-level pictures and videos — or finally live out your dreams of becoming a YouTube sensation.

Successfully funded on Kickstarter, Picbot puts an end to all your smartphone photography and videography dilemmas. It has built-in facial tracking software and 360-degree auto-rotation, which makes it capable of following your face even when you’re in motion, allowing you to get the perfect exposure every single time. You can use it to film vlogs, take outfit shots, record a makeup tutorial, take panoramas and time-lapse snaps, and more. You can even invite your squad to take photos and videos with you, as it can track up to three faces at the same time. Best of all, it has a Still Motion Capture feature, which means that it won’t start shooting unless you or your group are all in the frame. Read more…
