Donald Trump used a noticeably out-of-date photo to commemorate 9/11. Ugh.

Time to add another item to the list of perplexing decisions the White House made on 9/11. 

On Tuesday, the below tweet was sent from Donald Trump’s Twitter account as he and First Lady Melania Trump departed the White House for the September 11 remembrance ceremony in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, site of the crash of United Flight 93.

Seems fine on the surface. Except people on Twitter quickly noticed that a few things were off with the photo. First, the weather in D.C. was pretty rainy on Tuesday, not nice and sunny like in this photo.  Read more…

Osama bin Laden had that ‘Charlie bit my finger’ video in his compound

Osama bin Laden — yes, that Osama bin Laden — had a lot of strange, terrifying, and depressing stuff on the electronic devices in his compound when they were seized by Navy SEALs during the 2011 raid that left him dead. Now, thanks to a CIA’s November 1 release, the general public is free to browse at its leisure the contents of those various electronic gadgets. 

And, well, it turns out that at least someone in the Abbottabad compound was fond of child-centric viral videos. And not just any child-centric viral video, but the one and only Charlie bit my finger
