Please listen to this donkey belt out like like an opera singer

TwitterFacebook

A donkey was filmed singing something akin to an operatic aria on Sunday — and you’ll be blown away by her voice. Seriously.

The video of Harriet, the donkey who hails from Ireland, was originally shared by Martin Stanton on the Ireland from the Roadside Facebook group on Sunday.

“She could never hee haw like other donkeys but apparently she’s now an opera singer!!” Stanton captioned the video.

Harriet’s voice is definitely a diamond in the rough, but if we’re being honest she’s probably better at singing than most of us.

7-year-old girl’s version of the US national anthem is stunningly good

TwitterFacebook

There are plenty of people out there who have tackled the national anthem over the years — but few will have done it as memorably as this 7-year-old girl.

Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, whose Twitter account describes her as “singer, actor, model & anthem girl”, won a competition to sing at the start of the LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders soccer match on Sunday.

Needless to say, she absolutely crushed it:

Facebook is developing a singing talent show feature

Facebook’s plan to take on Musical.ly may involve more than just its own take on a lip syncing feature. It appears to also be working on something called “Talent Show,” which would allow users to compete by singing popular songs then submitting their audition for review. The feature isn’t live, but was rather uncovered in the […]

Woman is delighted to find herself alone on train, until she realizes she’s not

TwitterFacebook

Finding yourself alone on public transportation is a rare and miraculous occurrence.

Stevie was so delighted to find out that she seemed to be the only occupant of a train car, that she broke out into an improvised musical number.

She sang loudly for nearly a minute—before realizing that, actually, there was another person on the train.

Please enjoy this fantastic video of my friend Stevie. It’s one of my favorite things ever pic.twitter.com/gTDaioUtOR

Woopsies.

She continues the song, though, briefly serenading the other passenger, before she exits. Read more…

Here’s why you don’t buy your dad a Bluetooth microphone

TwitterFacebook

There are certain universal qualities found in dads everywhere. One of them, it seems, is going out of their way to embarrass their significant others.

Marie (@MarieAnnMcfly) shared a sweet moment on Monday of her father serenading her mother with a Bluetooth microphone he received as a gift. As the dad croons “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers, the mom remains stoic—even correcting his pacing at one point.

In true dad fashion, however, he continues to sing, unfazed.

my brother gave my dad a Bluetooth microphone for his bday as a joke & my mom was hella against it like, “what’s he gonna use that for?”
today, it’s my mom’s bday, and this is what my dad did for her 😂❤️ pic.twitter.com/jMj4DJ8fW2

Heartbreaking video of little boy singing in memory of his sister goes viral

TwitterFacebook

A video of a little boy singing a song in memory of his sister has gone viral on Twitter.

Samir Deais from San Antonio, Texas, shared a short clip of his 4-year-old son singing in front of an alter on New Year’s Eve.

My son singing “Remember Me” from the movie “Coco” to his baby sister, Ava, who we lost this past May.

He’s only 4 years old and he understands. He didn’t even know he was being recorded. He just wanted to sing to her for her 1st birthday!

Happy Birthday mamas, we miss you!💕 pic.twitter.com/EoVLjju0bJ
