Some things in the world seem to obvious that it feels pointless to say them out loud. The sky is blue. The ocean is deep. Michael B. Jordan is everyone’s free pass. These are facts of the known universe and on June 5th, a new universal fact joined them in the library of absolute truth.

We super duper, extra special with sprinkles on top do not need a standalone Joker movie starring Jared Leto, and the fact that Warner Brosreportedly is in the early stages of planning one fills me with a confusion so profound I can barely wrap my head around it. To examine the evidence, Jared Leto played a terrible-looking and horribly interpreted Joker in a too-dark and alarmingly misguided movie that literally no one liked. Did an Instagram photo spoil a major ‘Suicide Squad 2’ plot point?

The Suicide Squad sequel may have just spoiled one of its only cliffhangers. The 2015 film ended with a self-sacrifice from Diablo (Jay Hernandez), but it looks like he’s back on set and training for Suicide Squad 2.

Joel Kinnaman, who will reprise his role as Rick Flagg in Suicide Squad 2, shared a photo from the gym where he is ostensibly working out to prepare for the sequel with costar Jai Courtney – and Hernandez.
