Apple is expected to announce a lot of new software at its WWDC keynote today — iOS 12, macOS 10.14, and watchOS 5 — but one announcement might have slipped out early.
Ahead of Apple’s developer conference, a Reddit user has discovered what appears to be a web player for Apple Music for desktop. Currently, the only way to access Apple Music on a Mac or PC is through iTunes.
Could this be beginning of the end for Apple’s most bloated and arguably most disliked piece of software?
The discovery was made after the user noticed Apple had updated the Apple Music tools website with a new “sign in” feature that lets users play complete songs, albums, and playlists, as opposed to just short previews. Read more…
