Accessibility has long played an integral role at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, and it certainly had its presence felt in 2018. There are some constant elements of the week, such as the labs, sessions, and mid-week social that brings together members of Apple’s Accessibility group, developers and others interested in the disabled community to celebrate inclusiveness and accessible design.

The $10,000 Apple Watch Edition is obsolete now

This is going to be a hard lesson for early adopters. 

While Apple’s new wearable operating system, watchOS 5, is packed with lots of new features, it’s not going to run on first generation Apple Watches.

So, that means the $10,000 Apple Watch Editions are now practically worthless. Or rather, they won’t be getting any new features, suggesting that it might be time to upgrade from your pricey investment. Even though the device is already three years old, we’re still surprised to hear that Apple is ending support so soon — especially when some of the models costs thousands of dollars. Read more…
