Marathons require determination. Fitness. Focus.

Not everyone will readily associate with these attributes, but then there’s this stray dog named Stormy who conquered the 21-kilometre (13 mile) Goldfields Pipeline half-marathon in Western Australia recently.

As reported by ABC News, not only did Stormy finish the race, but he did it in a time of two-and-a-half hours, matching the average time of the human competitors who completed the half-marathon.

And for that, Stormy received a well-deserved medal for his efforts.
